Happy Pioneer Day!
I had THE MOST wonderful time in Owensboro, Kentucky with the Karen speaking sister missionaries! Fun fact: Johnny Depp's hometown, ummmm hello 🙈 I LOVE teaching people about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, language barriers and all! I find it so fun knowing that God hears and speaks every language, allowing Him to connect with each and everyone of us through the Holy Spirit!
I also had the privilege of being with Sister Walter on her first ever exchange! How humbling... I have been out on a mission for FOREVER! She made sure to remind me over and over again of all the things I do not know about the world at the moment ahaha - I love my missionary bubble of sunshine, rainbows, no secular influence, and pure Jesus!
This week, I have been reminded through my personal time with Heavenly Father of the daughter I want to be now and beyond my days as a full-time missionary. I have also been reminded of who Christ really is!
"... the Son of God shall come in His glory; and His glory shall be the glory of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace, equity, and truth, full of patience, mercy, and long-suffering, quick to hear the cries of his people and to answer their prayers" (Alma 9:26).
To sum it up - Jesus is FULL of goodness! Getting to share this with people is priceless :))
