Happy MLK Day, everyone!
Yesterday, I rediscovered that one of my absolute biggest fears is throwing up! Big yikes. The rest of the week was fuego, though! We attended both Mission Leadership Council and Zone Leadership Council, teaching me tons about what diligence does and does not look like.
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, one of the current Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ, hosted a young adult devotional this last week! My favorite thing that he said was, "I bless any among you who might be speaking these days of a 'faith crisis.' Real faith, life-changing faith, Abrahamic faith, is always in crisis. That is how you find out if it is faith at all. I promise you that more faith will mean less crisis until finally God says, 'Well done, thou good and faithful servant.'”
My focus of study this upcoming week will have faith written all over it - feel free to join me! Let's learn together what it truly means to "hope for things which are not seen, which are true" (Alma 32:21).
