Hey guys! I'm still alive, and doing well in roma!
Basically I am having a great time training my new missionary, and working with people has been great too.
I have a few people that we teach, and about 100 friends who knows us. When it's your job to talk with people and you are good at remembering their names in a few weeks you will know the whole city. Now when I'm waking around I can say hi to about 20 people that I recognize. Now getting them to be interested in what I have to say is something else but at least it's nice to talk to them.
I had the wonderful opportunity to go to the Rome Italy temple last week. For us temples are a sacred space where we learn about the purpose of life and make covenants with our father. Jesus Christ is central to the temple and as is the case with me, when Latter-day Saints attend the temple it is a rest of the business of life and helps us refocus on whats most important in life.
